Not looking for or making a restaurant rec, but I am looking to buy some Bento boxes and accessories to make lunches more fun for my son. Any suggestions? Please include rough area (cross streets), if possible. Thanks!

There is an awesome oriental cooking supply store down in the main drag of Chinatown (on the west side of Wentworth, I think in the block south of 22nd, about a block and a half down from Cermak) that's in a fairly plain brownstone, but they have vegetable shape cutters (and other kitchen items) in the windows ... my guess is they'd have a selection. Needless to say, several of the various "gift emporiums" down there might have some as well. There used to be an oriental import shop up on Clark (east side of the street, about a block north of Diversey) that had a good selection of Bento boxes, but I'm not sure if they're still there.

I don't know of many stores in Chicago, but there are plenty of bento boxes sold for cheap on eBay! I've bought all of my bento supplies there. Totally worth your time and money.
